About General Manager Annie Byrne

Annie is a Chicago Southland native and a former athlete who is committed to making sports a positive influence in the lives of young people.

Annie graduated from Saint Xavier University after helping the Cougars win their first-ever Conference Crown for Coach Bob Hallberg. She is very privileged to be in the SXU Athletic Hall of Fame.

In the past, as Marian Catholic’s Head Girl’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director for 8 years, Annie led that team to multiple and repeated titles as well as the 2012 State Championship and was a 7-time recipient of Illinois Basketball Coaches Association’s “District 8 Coach of the Year.” Byrne was named the “2009 Southtown-Star Coach of the Year” and “2010 Northwest Indiana Times Coach of the Year.” She has been a clinician for international summer basketball camps and has earned a Masters in School Leadership.

Making a career change, Annie served as Director of Operations for Legends Sportsplex in Bourbonnais, Illinois before joining Southland Center and Indoor Sports Management Group. Annie received her Certified Arena Operator Certification in May of 2018.

About Assistant General Manager Brandon Denton

Brandon has worked in a sports facility for 8 consecutive years and his sporting passion is baseball. He started at catcher for Momence High School Baseball team all four years while attending, and was a 2-time member of the Sangamon Valley Conference All-Area Baseball Team.

He received his degree in Journalism from Governors State University in the spring of 2016.

Brandon was the Event Coordinator and later the Assistant Director of Operations at Legends Sportsplex before joining Indoor Sports Management Group and Southland Center. He received his Certified Arena Operator Certification in May of 2018.
